📒Server Rules

The rules for our FiveM server are listed below.

We are always open to constructive criticism. If you feel like something should be changed, open a ticket in Discord!

Bugs/Exploits:

Please report all bugs/exploits by utilizing the ticket system in Discord.  Do not post them in a chat channel.  We also take exploiting very seriously and you will be penalized when caught

Player Deaths:

When you are in 'last stand' you are considered injured, which means if you are able to be revived within the timer window, you are allowed to retain your memory and continue any active RP scene.  Once you 'bleed out', you are considered dead and your player must forget the last 30 minutes of gameplay.

You can heal at a hospital or call player or AI ems.  Player EMS is free and is the best option if they are around.  AI ems will only work if you are somewhere where a normal ambulance could realistically drive to.

OOC / Meta Gaming:

Your character doesn't know what you as a person knows.  This mean you are not allowed to use the online player list to look up police or other players before deciding something in RP.  We encourage the community to hang out and talk to each other in Discord chat but anything shared there cannot be used in game.

Watching other player's streams either in Discord or other streaming services, and then acting on that information is considered meta gaming.

Killing:

All player on player killing/murders/etc must have a backstory to support it.  We welcome the murder of your fellow citizens, but there must be a solid reason behind it.  Random kill of other people because you are a 'thug' or a 'gang' is not an acceptable reason.

Character Creation:

All players are allowed 1 character.  All new characters must be changed away from the default PED.  Your character is not allowed to have a parody name, or be named after famous people.

Illegal Activities:

Wearing gloves on your character will not mask your fingerprints.  Police are able to obtain fingerprint information off of vehicles and ammo shell casings.  Police are only allowed to use this information in RP if you have a valid reason for your fingerprints to be entered into their system such as prior arrests or a valid weapons license.  You are able to destroy your evidence after a certain amount of time.

No 'Dirty Cops' are allowed to join the NSP.

Police are not allowed to use the 'Thermal' function on the police helicopter when dealing with an active crime scene. Police can use the 'Thermal' function when searching for someone that has requested medical.

RP Healing:

If you are in an active RP scene, you are not allowed to take or use anything that will heal you, add armor or reduce stress.  You may still eat/drink to fill your consumable bars.  You are also not allowed to call the AI EMS.

AFK:

Try and hide somewhere or go away from other players as best you can when going AFK.  Your character is NOT protected when you go afk, so we always suggest logging out if you are going to be 'in your head' for any length of time

Player Owned Businesses:

Player owned businesses that are considered essential to other players will be moderated by Server Staff.  This means if you own one of these businesses that other players rely on there will be rules and guidelines in place on what you are allowed to charge and what you are allowed to do.  This is to prevent price gouging and negatively effecting other players.

If you are unable to maintain stock or service other player's needs with your player owned business, it may be taken away and turned back into an NPC owned business.

Server Staff will make every attempt to assist you in keeping your player owned business running. If you are having issues keeping things in stock, or you are going to be out of the City for an extended period of time please open a ticket in Discord so we can come up with a solution.

Vehicles and Reimbursements:

Destroyed or totaled player owned vehicles that are able to be recovered by a mechanic or other recovery service can be repaired and used again.  The fee for this is 10% of the vehicles value, along with any other recovery and towing fees from the person that recovered your vehicle.  The vehicle must sit in the mechanic's possession for 24 hours in order to be repaired.

Vehicles that are unabled to be recovered by normal in-game means such as vehicles that are in deep water like a lake or ocean will be considered totaled and must be repurchased.

--Aircraft--
The above rule covers player owned Aircraft also, except the repair fee is 50% of your vehicles value (30% to NSP for processing, and 20% to the mechanic)

If your vehicle was destroyed by a glitch in game please make a ticket in Discord and we will get it repaired and taken care of.

In-Character Expectations:

Unless dealing directly with Server Staff in game, you must remain in character at all time.  This means that saying things like "Sorry I was speeding, my controller died and I tried to use my keyboard and pushed the wrong button", doesn't make any in-character sense.  Always revert back to RP to come up with a reason why something happened if needed.

If you are in a disagreement with police or other players about an RP scene, you must resolve this issue in RP.  Do not break character to deal with it.  If you have an issue with how an interaction with police went, following the in game steps to file a report against the responding officers.  If you truly have a complaint about a person or character, make a ticket in Discord.  (All player complaint tickets can ONLY be seen by server owners, and not Staff).

Police Interactions:

If you are actively running from police, you are not allowed to store or retrieve a vehicle from the garage.  If police have probable cause to search a vehicle, you are required to retrieve that vehicle that is stored in the garage.

Character Deletion (Perma Death):

Anytime your character is unrecoverable by another player, or by pressing E is not working to revive such as in extreme deep water, your character will be considered 'dead' and will be deleted.

If you 'rage quit' during an RP scene and leave the Discord, your character will be deleted.

Prison/Arrests:

Prison... For RP sake, this is a fully staffed prison full of police officers and guards. This means you are NOT allowed to 'camp' or wait for the prisoner transport to show up.  Once we have a system in place to break out of prison, this rule will change.

The prison transport is allowed to be hijacked, broken out of UNTIL they are in the water or in the air almost to the prison.
